Burrell's Bar-B-Que 5-7-2005 I have had the pleasure of enjoying BBQ from this fine establishment on two occasions, and can tell you that I can remember exactly what I had both times, down to the parsley. This is real Carolina BBQ, no BS here. Pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, baked beans and of course the best ribs this side of South Carolina (try the brisket as well, just melts in your mouth) The owner is a class act, and I recently had him cater a party for me and it went off without a hitch. In fact, a few in attendance booked him for their upcoming events they were so impressed. If you like BBQ, you will like Burrell's. If you don't, then you have issues. --Joe Inch webmaster's note: If you're new to Burrell's, try the 3 meat combo plate and take some gumbo home. Save room for pie! There's barely room to move inside but the picnic tables outside are fine for lunch. This is real BBQ with a human touch. Lucille's and Johnny Reb's are good but you haven't had BBQ until you've tasted what comes out of Fred Burrell's smokers.. Someday they'll do their own website and BBQ hungry folks from around the county won't have to read about it here. Google Burrell's BBQ and this page comes up first. You'd think we'd get a discount for all the customers we send them, but no. Fred bought burrellsbbq.com in 2007 but hasn't put a page up yet with hours and directions. The next time you go in for ribs, ask him to get with it.
