Directions to the City Council Meeting Tuesday, May 5th.

If you haven't been to a Council Meeting before, here are the directions:

From Washington Square, drive South on Flower past Civic Center to 6th Street. Turn left into the Civic Center Plaza (6th Street) at the light. It's paid parking, so get a ticket.

Drive straight with a slight right jog to almost the end of the plaza. The entrance to the City Council Chambers is on the left and the parking structure is on the right.

If you want to make a comment, arrive before 5:00PM and fill out a comment card on the way in. Reference Agenda Item #30 Washington Square Park on the comment card. You'll have 3 minutes to speak during the "public comments" portion of the meeting. Speakers are called on the order they signed in.

If you want to support the Park Committee, arrive by 6:00PM and look for us when you come in to the Council Chamber. We're going to try to sit together as a group if it's possible. We'll have some small signs to hold up when neighbors are speaking about our potential park.

You can feel free to leave after the comments are finished as the park won't be voted on during the meeting. That happens during a work study session between now and the next Council Meeting.
